Working back and forth, k60 rows.

This will result in 30 garter ridges.

At the end of last row, pick up 30 sts on the short side of piece,

40 sts along bottom of piece and 30 sts along remaining short

side.

PM and join in the round, being careful not to join in the round.

Knit 1 round, increasing 2 sts evenly in this round.

Lace Pattern

Change to US 9 needles and begin lace pattern.

Row 1: K1, *(YO, S1, K2, PSSO)*, repeat from * to end.

Row 2: K

Continue these 2 rounds until lace pattern measures 14”:

Top Section

Row 1: Purl around

Row 2: Knit around

Row 3: Purl around

Row 4: Knit around

Row 5: Purl around

Row 6: K5 sts. BO around until there are 4 sts remaining on

left needle before marker. Knit across all 10 sts, removing

marker when you come to it. Work these 10 sts in Garter

stitch (knit every row) until strap measures 15”. BO all sts

and secure strap securely directly opposite beginning of

strap.
