PPG INDUSTRIES MONROEVILLE

At the PPG work site, task related activities include filling catering and coffee orders, food packaging, preparation and storage and breakdown/cleanup of cafeteria.

MARSHALL’S-MIRACLE MILE MONROEVILLE

Students at this work site are responsible for merchandise preparation, flat stacking, recovery, tagging and facility maintenance.

PETLAND

Petland workers front merchandise, clean pet materials and laundry, make sure the customers can view the animals through clean windows, and even have a chance to enjoy a little time with the puppies!!

UPMC EASTAt the UPMC East work site, the workers are responsible for signing in electronically using their badges, as well as restaurant maintenance, refilling the coffee and condiment station, preparing silverware and cleaning the stainless steel appliances.

VILLAGE HARDWARE

Workers at Village Hardware in Murrysville front merchandise (and there is quite a bit!) Dusting and sweeping occupy a great deal of the time during the work shift.

HARBOR ASSISTED LIVING

“Soft skills” come to the forefront of worksite responsibilities at Harbor, where our workers engage residents in recreational activities, such as bowling, bingo, arts and crafts and music.

ASSET

The Sunrise workers travel to the Southside of Pittsburgh to ASSET, Inc., where science kits are assembled for instructional use all across Western PA. The volunteers help count and assemble elements of the kits, and even get time for lunch together between shifts!

BOX’S FOR FOXES

This is truly a team effort. Pizza Boxes assembled and packed into bags in our Sunrise School Work Activity Center are prepared for shipment on the Work Bus and delivered to Fox’s Pizza Den in Pitcairn.
