Sunnytek clean water systems and designed to make water for a number of homes from a local water supply like a river or a drilled well. We offer 2 versions of the solution. All solutions are solar powered and need no grid.
* Surface water system WP 700Here we have an integrated pump. Max depth is 3 meter.Here pump is include inside cabinet and we have solar panels and electronics + a battery system to get a 24 hour operation. If water is very dirty water we add a special profiler for largest particles.Standard system is operated 5-7 hours per day and then it gives 3-4 M3 / day. This cowers typical 10 families each with 5 personsExtended system includes larger solar panels and larger battery system. Here we can extend to 24 hours operation with full flow. Here we get up to 14 M3 / day. This can then handle about 40 families with 5 persons each.In all cases we recommend to have a tank / tower to get better operation and less stress on users. Tanks of about 200 liters / family is normally OK.
Extended system is normally 1 KW in solar panels and a larger battery unit of 6-10 KWH content by the new Ni-MH battery system.

WP1200 system
Surface water WP 1200 system is a large version that. It is about double size in all parameters and gives 1200 liters / hour in clean water.
Standard system is operated 5-7 hours per day and gives about 6- 8 M3 of water. This is typical what 15-20 families need in clean water.
Extended system includes larger solar panels and battery and when operated 24 hours it can give up to 28-30 M3 / dayThis is typical what 70-75 families need per day.
If input water is very dirty we have a special particle filter to add. We also recommend to use a water tower like in all other systems. If volume is high it is preferable to have a multiple installation of WP 1200 systems
Application surface water system.These systems are designed to use surface water only as depth is max 3 meter. On demand we can add booster pumps to get up to 8 meters depth. If over 8 meter we have submersible water pumps operating on solar panels and battery systems.

For safe and easy transport, the WP1200M comes with an integrated rugged light-weight aluminum trolley with handle carrying grips and two heavy duty air pumped wheels suitable for rough roads and staircases. The solar panel array is easily dismantled, folded, and placed on the trolley while solar cables and battery DC cables remain connected.
As with all SolarWave solutions, the WP1200M is a reliable, high-quality product specifically designed for use in remote rural areas under tough operating conditions. Its rugged aluminum cabinet and all internal components meet IP class 54 and hence effectively withstands dusty and wet climatic conditions. Submersible solar pumps for deep wells and high pressure operation in small and large installations.
These pumps can have a integrated solar panel inverter inside pumps and it is just to connect to solar panels. If we have larger back battery up for night operation we have an inverter/controller at surface. Normally these pumps deliver relative clean water so we add a simpler filter at output from storage tank. It is best to have a tank here to save energy costs.

Other models available down to 400 meter depth and larger capacity. Practically it is better with several bore holes in parallel as rick for dry holes are reduce and you get less particles.

Battery is Bi-Polar Ni-Mh om larger systems and GEL based long life deep cycle battery on smaller sites. ( 3500 cycles -50%) .The small systems are designed for 7-10 years life cycle and larger 10-20 years life.
