ROBUST AGAINST ANY EXTERNAL AGENT

ñ They are robust and protected against all types of weather

conditions by the extremely careful painting process.

ñ The phosphate process ensures perfect protection even in

very difficult-to-reach angles.

ñ The dry paint impregnation is carried out after the perfect

process of immersion and posterior drying.

ñ The painting is based on powder epoxy and is dried in high

temperature fumaces and this confers great resistance to all

elements, and guaranteing its use in outside installations.

ñ The base is manufactured with strong, folded steel plate that

covers the entire bonnet perimeter, this is thenready for the

later installation of the mobile kit.

ñ The soundproofed bonnet consists of steel plate folder wit

high precision machinery.

ñ All the comers are carefully welded to achieve a better finish

and a vibrations reduction.

SILENT OPERATION

The SUNLIGHT soundproofed electrical generating sets achieve

acoustic values that are lower than those recommended by the

E.E.C. and are officialy approved in accordance with the E.E.C.

directive CEE 84/536, which refers to the emission of sound

power (LWA).

EASE TRANSPORT AND MAINTENANCE

ñ The lifting hook, located on the upper part of the outside of

the bonnet, allows easy manoeuvring when the

soundproofed set is being transported.

ñ Easy to handle by forklift or crane in any version.

ñ Novel designs have allowed a significant reduction in the

dimensions and weights of our manufactured products.

ñ The large doors allow easy access to the interior of the

genset, whether it is for a component inspection or to carry

out routine maintenance operations. Moreover, they are lined

with a fibre that allows easy cleaning.

ñ Easily accessible fuel tank filling cap with filter and draining

cap.

SOUNDPROOFED MOBILE GENSET

We are able to transform static soundproofed sets into mobile

ones by adding the corresponding mobile kit.

The mobile kit can be made of one or two axies according to the

weight of the electrical generating set. Manufactured with a

robust structure from steel profiles and equipped with: axle with

brake and elastic suspension, tow bar with support that may be

regulated in height with front wheel to facilitate movement, and

rear wheels with their associated mudguards.

Quality Assurance: SUNLIGHT factory has established and maintains a Quality Assurance System according to ISO 9001/AQAP 110 that has been certified by TUV CERT, for primary and secondary self and batteries: Lead-Acid (veated and sealed), nickel-cadmium (veated and sealed), zinc-chlorade, alkaline, lithium, nickel-metal hydride, silver zinc, as well as for batteries charger systems, rectifiers, Ups, inverters, converters, ac-dc power supply systems, generating systems, electrical control panels, low voltage panels, renewable energy and hydride systems. The Quality Control Department ensures the highest quality and the outmost performance of the final product, while the R&D Dept focuses its activities on the development of new products and improvement of the existing manufacturing procedures.

Environmental Control: SUNLIGHT Factory has established and maintains an Environmental Pollution Prevention System according to EN 14001 that has been certified by TUV CERT. Special engineering and expensive machinery ensure absolutely clean working conditions as well as protection of the natural environment.

It was established in 1977, as a Zinc - Carbon battery production unit and acquired by GERMANOS in 1991. Since then, following an intensive development plan, it has been tranformed to one of the most advanced factories in Europe.

It covers an area of more than 30.000 m2 in a field of total area 150.000m2

it employs more than 230 specialized engineers, technicians and workers and it has currently operating the following production and/or assembly lines.
