19 May 2017 Sunflower Oatmeal Prep 5 Min | Cook 10 Min INGREDIENTS Oatmeal 1Cup Water ½Cup Instant Oatmeal 1Teaspoon Cinnamon 1Teaspoon Maple Syrup 1Teaspoon Sunflower Seed Butter ½Apple (I used Pink Lady but you can use your favorite) 1Date Toppings 1Tablespoon Favorite Granola (mine is Almond Butter Granola from Trader Joes) ½Banana ½Apple 1Teaspoon Sunflower Seed ½Cup your favorite milk (I use Almond Milk) NOTES 1. If your oatmeal seems firmer than you like, add more water during the simmering process. 2. You can add whatever toppings you like but the ones I have listed are my favorite, you could try adding raisins or walnuts. 3. Be prepared to be very full! DIRECTIONS 1 Pour 1 Cup water into a saucepan, cover and bring water to a boil. 2 While you wait for water boil cut whole apple into small chunks, slice ½ banana and cut date into small pieces 3 Once water has come to a boil reduce heat and add ½ cup oatmeal, cinnamon, maple syrup, 1 teaspoon sunflower seed butter, pieces of date and ½ apple. 4 After all ingredients have been added stir and let simmer for 5 7 min or until Oatmeal is at your desired consistency. 5 Once done cooking remove from heat and pour into bowl 6 Now the best part! Sunflower  Oatmeal
