Policy and Configuration Change Sunflo Arvada is no longer offering the gearbox housing conversion option (from P-2000 to P-2500). Sundyne will retain the responsibility for the quality of the subassembly. Consequently, Sunflo will not be offering spare bearing liners, tolerance rings, or aluminum gearbox housings as individual components. Sunflo will offer a gearbox housing subassembly with a factory installed tolerance ring and liner as the spare component to replace when needed. Justification Many customers do not have the tooling or inspection equipment to verify the proper installation. Typically, when a problem has arisen to the level of questioning bearing liner integrity, the gearbox housing rear bearing hanger should also be inspected, and this step is frequently omitted, putting the entire unit at risk. Previous Configuration New Part Equivalent HO05SJ01XXXX00 47-001 HO05SJ05XXXX00 LJ01SJ03 Additional Notes HO05SJ03XXXX00 (a subassembly with cooling line options, sight glasses, tags, drain plug, vent, and other components) will now list the new part equivalent rather than the individual previous configuration parts in its bill of materials. Currently produced steel gearbox housings do not require a liner. The old configuration has not been supplied by Sundyne France, hence only the new configuration will be supplied.
