CoDe of etHiCSI will be a good sportsman. I recognize that people judge

all snowmobile owners by my actions. I will use my influence with other snowmobilers to promote sportsmanlike conduct.

I will not litter trails or camping areas. I will not pollute streams or lakes.

I will not damage living trees, shrubs, or other natural fea-tures.

I will respect other people's property and rights.

I will lend a helping hand when I see some- one in distress. I will make myself and my vehicle available to assist search and rescue parties.

I will not interfere with or harass hikers, skiers, snowshoers, ice fisherman, or other winter sportsmen. I will respect their rights to enjoy our recreational facilities.

I will know and obey all federal, state, and local rules regu-lating the operation of snowmobiles in areas where I use my vehicle. I will inform public officials when using public lands.

I will not harass wildlife. I will avoid areas posted for the protection or feeding of wildlife.

I will stay on marked trails or marked roads open to snow-mobilers. I will avoid cross-country travel unless specifically authorized.

Snowmobile Trails are open to the general public for snow-mobile use only and only during the snowmobiling season (December 1 through april 1).

No motorized vehicles other than snowmobiles shall be operated on designated snowmobile trails unless authorized by permit, lease, or easement.

Fifty (50) Miles Per Hour Maximum Speed on all trails unless posted otherwise.

Two-Way Traffic on all trails.

Trails across lakes are not groomed. Check ice conditions before using them.
