I confess to almighty God
and to you my brothers and sisters,
that I have greatly sinned,
in my thoughts and in my words,
in what I have done and in what I have failed to do, All strike their breast as they say:
through my fault, through my fault,
through my most grievous fault;
therefore I ask blessed Mary, ever-Virgin,
all the Angels and Saints,
and you, my brothers and sisters,
to pray for me to the Lord our God.
Priest: May almighty God…everlasting life.
Assembly: Amen.

The Homily
Profession of Faith (Nicene Creed)
I believe in one God, the Father almighty,
maker of heaven and earth, of all things visible and invisible.
I believe in one Lord Jesus Christ, the Only Begotten Son of God,
born of the Father before all ages.
God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God,
begotten, not made,
consubstantial with the Father;
through him all things were made.
For us and for our salvation he came down from heaven,
(All bow at the following words up to and including and became man.)
and by the Holy Spirit was incarnate of the Virgin Mary,
and became man.
For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate,
he suffered death and was buried, and rose again on the third day
in accordance with the Scriptures.
He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead
and his kingdom will have no end.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life,
who proceeds from the Father and the Son,
who with the Father and the Son
is adored and glorified, who has spoken through the prophets.
I believe in one, holy, catholic and apostolic Church.
I confess one Baptism for the forgiveness of sins
and I look forward to the resurrection of the dead
and the life of the world to come. Amen.
The Universal Prayer (Prayer of the Faithful)
Invitation to Prayer
Priest: Pray, that ... acceptable to God, the almighty Father.
Assembly: May the Lord accept the sacrifice at your hands
for the praise and glory of his name,
for our good and the good of all his holy Church.
Preface Dialogue
Priest: The Lord be with you.
Assembly: And with your spirit.
Priest: Lift up your hearts.
Assembly: We lift them up to the Lord.
Priest: Let us give thanks to the Lord our God.
Assembly: It is right and just.
Sign of Peace
Priest: The peace of the Lord be with you always.
Assembly: And with your spirit.
At this time, for health and safety, any physical contact that was once
part of the Sign of Peace, is eliminated until further notice.
The Lamb of God will immediately follow the above dialog.
Invitation to Communion
Priest: Behold the Lamb of God, behold him who takes away the sins of the
world. Blessed are those called to the supper of the Lamb.
Assembly: Lord, I am not worthy that you should enter under my roof,
but only say the word and my soul shall be healed.
SPIRITUAL COMMUNION
My Jesus, I believe that you are present in the Most Holy Sacrament.
I love You above all things and I desire to receive You into my soul.
Since I cannot at this moment receive You sacramentally,
come at least spiritually into my heart.
I embrace You as if You were already there,
and unite myself wholly to You.
Never permit me to be separated from You.
Amen.
THE ANIMA CHRISTI
Soul of Christ, sanctify me.
Body of Christ, save me.
Blood of Christ, inebriate me.
Water from the side of Christ, wash me.
O Good Jesus, hear me.
Within your wounds hide me.
Permit me not to be separated from you.
From the wicked foe, defend me.
At the hour of my death, call me and bid me come to you
that with your saints I may praise you, forever and ever. Amen.
Concluding Rites
Priest: The Lord be with you. Assembly: And with your spirit.
Priest/Deacon: Go forth, the Mass is ended.
or Go and announce the Gospel of the Lord.
or Go in peace, glorifying the Lord by your life.
Assembly: Thanks be to God.
