camp staff, adult volunteers, and all the preteens as we attend camp.

The theme is “Wise Up”! Kids will learn how they can trust God in making wise

decisions, and to trust God with their feelings and fears.

The scripture theme is Proverbs 2:6. The Lord gives wisdom, knowledge and understanding! Registration for Upward Soccer has begun. Boys and Girls age 4 through 8th grade. You can register online by going to

our website www.fbcdouglasvillerec.org. Forms can be found in the church office, welcome desk, information center, and Family Life Center. Fees are $95 through this month and increase to $105 July 1st. We also need additional volunteer coaches. Uniform Sizing and Evaluations will be Saturday July 15th. Practices begin in early August.

IMPACT CHEERLEADING FOR GIRLS!!! REGISTER EARLY AS OPENINGS ARE LIMITED. We are excited to offer several Impact Cheerleading Teams for girls this year. Part of the Fellowship of Christian Cheerleaders (FCC), Impact Cheerleading is a dynamic program designed to teach cheerleading in a Christ centered, positive and up-lifting learning environment. FCC started in 1986 and is the largest Christian Cheerleading organization ministering to over 15,000 students annually through camps, competitions, clinics and conferences.

The fees cover all uniforms (including shoes), accessories, practice music and instructional DVD, devotional material, end of season awards and competition entry fees and more. We will be offering specific teams for 1st grade through high school. Staffed by our trained and certified coaches, teams will practice twice per week. As this is a competition team, attendance at all practices is critical. Registration day for returning cheerleaders and FBC members is Friday June 2nd from 6 to 9pm. Open registration is Saturday June 3rdh from 9am to noon. All registrations must be made in person. Please contact Erin Mann in the recreation office for additional information.
