Our Prayer Focus for First Church this Week:
Pray for our Music Ministry and the Faith Sharing Class
Preschool—It’s not too late to register for First Church Preschool! We offer
classes for ages 2 through VPK. Contact us at 954-752-0336 for information
about our wonderful school.
Church-wide Workday—Saturday, March 26th, 9am. Plan to lend a helping
hand and help maintain our property. Breakfast will be served at 8am by Band of Brothers.
Church Community Gathering—next Sunday, March 13th, 12:15pm in the Sanctuary.
Altar Flowers—Sign up in the church lobby if you would like to place flowers on the altar in memory or
honor of someone or a special event.
Faith-Sharing-Training—In just 3 weeks, learn simple ways to share your faith using Methodist based
tools to guide you step by step. Bring your friends and family, Thursdays, March 10th, 17th, and 14th, 7-
8:30pm, upstairs in the Faith Building. Lead by Rev. Sheryl Marks-Williams. The books are $5.
Women’s Bible study—Monday, 6:30 in the Orange Room. The group is starting a new Priscilla Shirer
study entitled ―Jonah‖. If you ever have trouble navigating where life takes you, this one is for you! Please
bring an appetizer to share.
Friday, March 11, 6pm to 10pm— Come out to hear our band, Higher Ground, as they play at ―The Walk‖,
2716 N. University Dr, Coral Springs. This fundraising event is sponsored by Avon and Sir Pizza to benefit
Avon’s Speak Out Against Violence Program. Mention this announcement and a portion of the proceeds
from your check will be donated to this cause.
Fringe (youth)—Today, March 6th, 5:30-7:30pm. Join us for fun, food &
fellowship.
Mission Trip to Daytona—July 24th-29th. 2 youth spaces are available. Call

Parent/Youth Meeting—Wed. March 9th, 8:15pm. All who are going to Honduras are required to attend
this meeting to plan the fundraising events.
