Summer Semester 2014 ________________________________________________________________

West Campus

Armory Fieldhouse Roof Replacement Project is scheduled to begin in July and be completed January 2015. Scaffolding and overhead protection will be in place at the exits. Fencing will be in place around the construction site. Contact: PD&C Renovations 556-5200

Calhoun Hall Roof Replacement

Calhoun Parking Garage Lighting Upgrade

Construction began in May and it will be completed June 2014. Portions of the parking garage will be closed off as the light fixtures are changed out. Contact: PD&C Capital Projects 556-5200

Central Utility Plant Roof Replacement

Project is scheduled to begin in August and be completed December 2014. Scaffolding and overhead protection will be in place at the exits. Fencing will be in place around the construction site. Contact: PD&C Renovations 556-5200

Clifton Court Car Charging Station

Project began November 2013 and is scheduled to be completed summer 2014. Fencing and barricades are in place around the construction site. Signage is posted to guide pedestrians around the site as needed. Contact: PD&C Renovations 556-5200

DAAP Façade Improvements

This project is scheduled to be completed June 2014. The façade on the Aronoff Center (DAAP complex) is being replaced. Construction barriers

are in place around the construction site. Detour signage is posted around the site and throughout the buildings to guide pedestrians around the project.

Scaffolding and overhead protection has been and will continue to be in place at the exits prior to any overhead work occurring.

Nippert Stadium Renovation Area around the Nippert Press Box (adjacent to the TUC dock) is under renovation and

The south and west concourse of Nippert Stadium are closed off for construction. Construction security fence and construction gates is in place around the site. Backstage Drive may experience periodic closures near the CCM plaza. Roadway barriers will

be in place and all closures will be coordinated with adjacent building operations and events. The three gates are identified as the North Gate (located near Steger Student Life Center on

Main Street), Field Level Gate (located at field level at the north end zone), and the South Gate (located at the TUC dock). The South Gate is considered the primary gate access for construction and TUC deliveries. A sheriff deputy is stationed at the South Gate M-F 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM.

Non-routine (non-construction) deliveries should be scheduled with the TUC dock manager (513) 556-5273.

Rieveschl Hall Phase 5 & 6 Lab Renovation Rieveschl 800 level, east end of 700 level, and other areas throughout the building are

undergoing a renovation. The project is scheduled to be completed October 2014. Hallways may be closed from time to time while the renovation progresses. Detour signage will be posted to guide pedestrians through the building. Construction areas will be kept under negative air pressure, and the air will be monitored

Uptown Campus Magnetic Lock Replacement

Construction begins in July and it will be completed August 2014. An exit will be closed for a few days during the construction (changing out the door hardware)

in the following buildings: Memorial Hall, Dieterle, Corbett Center, Van Wormer, French West, Vontz, HPB, Logan Hall, and Taft Law College.

Signage will be posted at each exit. Exits will still be available for emergency egress. Contact: PD&C Capital Projects 556-5200

Wilson Site Modular Buildings

Modular units on the Wilson site are being fitted out and renovated into classroom and office space. The project is scheduled to be completed July 2014

Kettering North Wing Demolition

The Kettering North Wing is closed off, while the building is prepared for demolition. Construction barriers will be in place while the demolition activities progress. Detour signage will be posted to guide pedestrians through the Kettering Complex. Construction areas will be kept under negative air pressure, and the air will be monitored

MSB Phase IV Renovation

MSB Phase IV began May 2013 and is scheduled to be completed December 2014. Portions of the south end of MSB from E-level up through the 7th floor, the loading dock, and

penthouse are closed off during this renovation. Construction areas are being kept under negative air pressure, and the air is being monitored

to ensure that building occupants are not impacted by the construction activities. A buck hoist (construction entrance), crane, and staging area are located in the MSB loading

Blue Ash Campus

Blue Ash Modular Building Installation Modular buildings have been installed on the site west of Muntz Hall. The modular units are
