city centre, in the heart of the European institutions. Brussels is

easy to reach by plane (Brussels International Airport or

Brussels Charleroi), by Eurostar train is less than 2 hours from

London and Paris is 1.5h away with Thalis.

WHAT? Since 2006 more than 150 personal trainers have

graduated from our courses in Flemish and French.

Now, in order to answer to the growing demand

from overseas candidates, we are offering the full

course in English. We have decided to reduce the

number of participants from the usual 24 to just 12 to be able to concentrate the

three modules in six days. At the end of these intense six days you will have all you

need to start a successful career as a Functional Trainer.

PROGRAM The Functional Training Summer School will take place in Brussels (Belgium) from Saturday 22nd till Friday 28th August 2015. Classes take place from 9:30 till 16:30 with theory in the morning and practice in the afternoon.

Dates From Sunday 23rd August 2015 until Saturday 29th August 2015. The evening get together on Saturday 22nd is not compulsory. Price 1500 EUR excl VAT 21% for the whole course, the course material, the lunch during the classes, the welcome evening, the exams and the certification. Flight and accomodation are at charge of the students. We are currently looking for a hotel/residence where the students could stay at an interesting rate. This option will be communicated as soon as possible.

Admission procedure Candidates are required to submit their CV and motivation letter at: info@functionaltraining.be If accepted, they will be invited to pay the invoice for the course. Only after payment will their place be confirmed. Annulation Annulation is possible up to 4 weeks before the start of the course and the inscription fee will be entirely refund, minus 50EUR administration costs. In case of annulation later than 4 weeks before the start of the course, no refund will be possible but the money will be credited for the next education of Functional Training Academy. The organization has the right to cancel the course if there will be less than 6 participants 4 weeks before the course. In that case 100% of the inscription fee will be refunded.

WHO?

Admission requisites for candidates Candidates should own a relevant degree in a sports related subject and have the ambition to become functional trainers. Curriculum Vitae and a motivation letter will be required prior to admission. Teachers The course will be taught by the teachers’ team of Functional Training Academy. They are all active trainers with 5 to 10 years of experience in the training industry and regularly teach this course at different University Colleges in the country. Coordinator of the course is Max Icardi, BSc. Sport Medicine, one of the pioneers of functional training in Belgium and respected international presenter.
