Decoding Historical DocumentsJune 20 Learn how to transcribe historical documents with Kate Hesseldenz of Liberty Hall Historic Site. Participants will earn one volunteer hour and a chance to contribute to the preservation of historical artifacts.

Hands on the Past: An Afternoon of ArchaeologyJuly 18 Learn about people who lived in Kentucky hundreds or even thousands of years ago with Kentucky archaeologist Nick Laracuente! Participants will handle artifacts excavated from three sites around Kentucky and learn how archaeology reveals stories about the people who left them behind.

Frankfort Facts from the PastJuly 25 Join Russ Hatter as he shares quirky facts and exciting stories about Frankfort’s history, including the connection between Edgar Allan Poe and a Frankfort murder scandal.
