Dear Summer Reader,
Welcome to the Reading Makes Cent$ Summer Reading Program at Rockland Trust. We’re so happy you’ve decided to join us this summer for fun with reading and saving! Follow these steps to earn a deposit into your Rockland Trust savings account:
1. Read a book!
2. Complete a journal entry in this Summer Reading Journal — either write a short paragraph or draw a picture that tells us what each book is about.
3. Have your parent/guardian sign the bottom of your journal page to verify that you have finished the book.
4. Bring this Summer Reading Journal to your local Rockland Trust branch and we’ll give you credit for any new books you’ve read by stamping your book below and crediting your savings account with $2.50 per book (up to 10 books). Remember, you need to read four books before you can enroll in the program and open your savings account!
5. Remember that the program ends on August 31, 2019 and accounts must be opened or credited by September 9, 2019.
