INTRODUCTION

These develop students’ professional and practical skills, encouraging them to apply skills and knowledge acquired through study in a real-life environment. Students are placed with an employer to work on a research project or undertake work experience under the guidance of industry and academic supervision.

Students not only have to acquire knowledge but also the process and art of learning, and industry training allows them to refine their skills and knowledge. Many students who performed well have been employed immediately as permanent staff upon graduation

OBJECTIVES OF THE STUDY To familiarize with the different departments in the organization and their functioning. To study about the working conditions provided by the company. To analyze promotional activities followed by the company. To get a deep knowledge about the financial product and services in the business world.

SOURCE OF DATAData used for this study both primary and secondary.

• Primary data is collected by personal observation made during the study period.

• Secondary data collected from website related field , company websites and previous projects.

LIMITATIONS OF THE STUDY As data are collected through interviews, the information is subject to the bias

of the individuals. It’s been tough to understand the market in a short period.

Dealers were busy with their clients during market hours so it’s tough to understand the market moves.

It’s tough to get the organizational structure as officers report to headquarters and higher officials in mails different locality.

Registration For PAN/TDS/TAN Department

PAN CARD

Registration Department is handled by Mr.Alex (IRO)

Permanent Account Number (PAN) is a ten-digit alphanumeric number, issued in the form of a laminated tamper proof card, by the Income Tax Department of India.The Permanent Account Number (PAN) is unique to an individual or entity and it is valid across India. Permanent Account Number once allotted to an individual or entity is unaffected by a change of name, address within or across states in India or other factors.

MEANING OF PAN CARD

A typical Permanent Account Number is would look like AFZPK7190K.. The logic behind the array of numbers and alphabets is as follows:First three characters i.e. "AFZ" in the above PAN are alphabetic series running from AAA to ZZZ. Fourth character i.e. "P" in the above PAN represents the status of the PAN holder."P" stands for Individual."F" stands for Firm."C" stands for Company."H" stands for HUF. "A" stands for AOP. "T" stands for TRUST etc. 

Fifth character i.e. "K" in the above PAN represents first character of the PAN holder's last name/surname.Next four characters i.e. "7190" in the above PAN are sequential number running from 0001 to 9999.Last character i.e. "K" in the above PAN is an alphabetic check digit.

TAN(Tax deduction account number )

TAN is the Tax-Deduction Account Number i.e. the account number allotted by Income Tax dept. to the assesse who has right to deduct tax at source on income(TDS) or collect at source (TCS). 

TDS (Tax Deduction At source)

TDS is one of the modes of collection of taxes, by which a certain percentage of amounts are deducted by a person at the time of making/crediting certain specific nature of payment to the other person and deducted amount is remitted to the Government account

• Customers prefer the Karvy for PAN registration as it is well known financial agency.• Customers prefer the Karvy share trading because of brand image concern started from 1983.• Advertisements of Karvy are not having reach.• Well standardized firm provide clients to trade through online, mobile applications, instant mobile

should understand the importance of the research meeting.• Conduct new investors campaign in rural area, corporate offices, colleges, malls, etc.• Not only in equity trading Tuticorin Karvy can also start trading commodities as earliest.• Mostly investors have no idea about the graphs, chats and indicators how it helps in trading

and growth of the company they invested.• Concentrate on fast account opening to gain more customer satisfaction.
