SUMMER NATURE PROGRAM

Our Summer Nature Program is designed to take advantage of each child’s innate instincts to

explore and observe. Presentations are interspersed with field trips as well as nature walks

and talks. Respect and concern for our natural world can only be fostered though knowledge

and observation.

SCHEDULE: 7:00 a.m. – 8:30 a.m. Montessori Full Day Program begins.

Breakfast is served to children who arrive

before 8:00 a.m.

8:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. Montessori indoor and outdoor class activities

will be available. There will be science

presentations and nature discovery as well as

snack and outdoor play.

11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Lunch: Lunch Provided

12:30 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. Outdoor Play

1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. Projects featuring the theme of the week OR

nap time.

3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Full Day activities include arts, crafts, music,

cooking, and “Splash Days.”
