Sioux Falls, South Dakota: Sioux Falls Parks and Recreation is excited to announce swim passes go on sale today, Monday, April 11, 2016. Interested in purchasing a swim pass? Sioux Falls Parks and Recreation has upgraded the online registration software system. This year, everyone purchasing a swim pass will need to take the following steps: Create a new online account by going to register.siouxfallsparks.org. All family members on the swim pass must have new photos taken at a community center or other location. See below for details. Three options for swim passes were approved by the Sioux Falls City Council in October 2015. The Summer Only Pass will be valid during the outdoor pool season. The Fall/Winter/Spring Pass will be valid for the indoor facility while outdoor pools are closed. The Year-Round Pass will be valid May 1 through April 30, for unlimited usage of both the outdoor swimming pools and indoor swimming pool.
Opening day for outdoor pools is scheduled for Friday, May 27, 2016, weather permitting. The Midco® Aquatic Center is scheduled to open fall 2016.
