Where Does Your Company Fit?

also ensuring Chicago’s long-term economic prosperity. With public funding of

summer programs being cut, the private sector can make a greater impact.

local businesses that has previously been untapped.

(*Wages do not include fringe: FICA, Unemployment, Workers Comp)

What is the Duration of a Summer Internship?

The target start date is July 5th for an 8 week period, but this is totally flexible. Most

What Kind of Support Can I Expect from YG?

YG will provide a dedicated Account Manager to coordinate interviews, training,

onboarding, and anything else you need. They will be reachable for any questions

or concerns throughout the engagement. YG Counselors and Career Specialists will

prepare students before starting and meet with them on a regular basis during

the internship to monitor their progress.

What Type of Job Duties Can a Student Perform?

The skills of the students vary widely which is why an interview process is

recommended. YG has a screening and matching process internally to align the

best fit students to your internship and can then coordinate interviews with

your supervisor to make final selections.

Examples of job duties include: data entry, filing, coordinating meetings, answering

general calls/emails, providing customer service over the phone or in-person, direct

marketing or sales, designing websites, developing PowerPoint presentations,

documenting processes, drafting emails or letters, filling mailers, maintaining

schedules, etc.
