Mission – To reduce the state’s traffic crashes, fatalities, and injuries on the roads through leadership, innovation, facilitation and program support in partnership with other public and private organizations.

The staff of 8 annually works with: over 400 state and local government agencies; another 250 non-profit and community organizations; and many private sector businesses as partners to impact Nebraska crashes, injuries, and fatalities.
It is worth noting that the Nebraska office is
the most experienced state highway safety office staff in the nation.
