The Destination of Cigov chark, Batak Lake:The unique situation of Cigov chark makes it an ideal tourist place during all seasons. It is a perfect place for those, who travel by car. In the summer the lake-side of the Batak dam attracts the camping fans. Water ski, water wheels, jets and boats furrow the smooth surface of the dam, which occupies a territory of 22 square kilometers.


The crystal fresh air, the shady forest paths and the cool climate invite the tourists to go hiking in Batak Mountain. The region is a real paradise for the anglers. Balchik – “the white town at the Black sea” – poet Ovidii gave this name when he was living on bulgarian soil.Balchik has 26 century-old history. In the IV-th century B. C. Hunguest Hotel Forrás, the spa and wellness hotel in Szeged, is on the eve of renewal!

Due to renovation works to be started in autumn 2008 the hotel will have a totally new external and internal image and await its old and new guests with four-star rooms and services probably as from September 2009.

According to our plans full-fledged renovation will take place in the hotel rooms, conference and special event halls as well as catering units. Therefore, the hotel will not be open expectably between 15 September 2008 and 1 September 2009.

Planned new services include the following: luxurious apartments with Jacuzzi and fireplace, direct access to the neighboring spa to be renovated too, conference halls for 450 and 150 participants, a restaurant for 400 guests, bowling facility, X-box room and an underground garage.

The spa in the vicinity of the hotel will also be renovated within the framework of a HUF 6 billion investment project due to which a new wellness, adven-ture and spa facility providing a water surface of 4400 square meters for a total of 3000 people will offer the opportunity of curing (daytime hospital), relaxing (”quiet wellness”), regenerating (massage rooms, saunas) entertaining (adventure pools) and resting actively (the longest water slide in Europe operating all the year round) to its guests in each age group.

Szeged is known as the capital of „Alföld”, the Great Hungarian Plain. Szeged, the Csongrád county seat, is the largest city of South-East Hungary with a population of 162,000. It lies at the confluence of the Tisza and Maros rivers, at a distance of 170 km from Budapest, close to the Serbian and Romanian borders.
