    Life is all about choosing something over the other. We find it quite confusing as to what we really want in life and what exactly should be our focus. This summer, the English assignment will help you to think what exactly are the top

    most concerns today. Make a folder of about 10 A-4 size sheets. Include any 3 of the following in the folder and make an attractive title page: Enterprise is Fate

    1. Use two A-4 sheets to make a list of famous quotes from Shakespearean Plays. This list will be very useful in writing debates, essays, speeches or for

    compering events. Try to write at least 8-10 quotations.

    2. Make a pictorial collage on 2 A-4 sheets about a vacation, a recent excursion

    or an adventure holiday entitled, Travel: A catalyst of change. The collage should have 2/3rd written component including greetings (Hola!/Swadhika/Bon Jour/Namaste) phrases/information/slogans and

    reactions highlighting your experience as being an enriching one.

    3. Write an original article/poem/skit or short story on any one of the following

    topics. (Use 1 or 2 A-4 sheets) (typed as a MS Word document, font: Cambria, font size:12) Dont forget to add your name, class and section.

    1. We know that soil is the uppermost layer of the earth's crust, and is

    essential to support life on the earth because plants grow on it. The roots of

    the plants are anchored in soil, from where they obtain water and nutrients.

    But do you know that some plants can be grown without soil?

    This is called HYDROPONICS. It is a method of growing plants in water

    without soil.

    Find out more about hydroponics - how does it work, which plants can be

    grown like this, what are the consequences etc.
