Field Report Rocks to Roses – Brown End Quarry

Saturday 25th June

Image: Don Steward

NSGGA members Carol and Mike Fereday, Chris Eardley and Don Steward helped with Staffordshire

Wildlife Trust’s ‘Rocks to Roses’ by assisting members of the public with fossil casting. The weather

unfortunately was very wet and although the NSGGA gazebo was put to very good use, only a three

families braved the elements to cast some fossils.
