Please review this information prior to submitting your application. Eligibility: • U.S. Citizen • Faculty at NDSGC affiliate institution • Course must be in STEM (science, technology, engineering, or mathematics) field, STEM Education, and/or have significant NASA-relevance 1. Resume • 1-2 pages • Relevant Teaching and/or Research Experience 2. Proposal • Course Overview (350 words max) o Name of the course o Target student population § Prerequisite student knowledge § Desired class size o Semester when course will be offered o Rationale for course development, i.e., need for the course at your specific institution • NASA-relevance (300 words max) o NASA 2015 Technology Roadmap o NASA 2017 Strategic Technology Investment Plan o NASA 2018 Strategic Plan • Course Content (350 words max) o Goals and Objectives for the course o Proposed assignments o Proposed texts or procedures for selecting course texts/readings o Proposed teaching methodologies and strategies o Original course description (if applicable) and desired revisions o Course Schedule o It is understood that course development has not yet taken place, so these descriptions will reflect that. • Grammar, Mechanics, and Spelling
