Now 25 years old, Giliam likes to pay tribute to his birthplace by incorporating a winter scene into one of his acts. He will also bring to the stage a new grand illusion he has been working on with his female assistant that will add a new twist to the classic “separating a person in half.” This performance is sure to prove that not everything seen can be explained!

The Hot Club of Tucson, formed in 2004, is comprised of guitar-ist Matt Mitchell, violinist Nick Coventry and bassist Evan Dain. With weekly engagements at Hotel Con-gress and other venues in southern Arizona along with perform-ances at the national Gypsy Jazz Festival, this band has quickly become a leading force of this genre. Due to their traditional American jazz influences, the members of Hot Club of Tucson tend to break out of the usually defined roles and interact with each other more than is common in the French jazz style. The Hot Club of Tucson plays Django Reinhardt in-spired acoustic gypsy jazz, French jazz, folk, jazz manouche and music from American Tin Pan Alley. Hot Club of Tucson is often seen performing original arrangements of well-known tunes all the way from Lady is a Tramp (R Rodgers) and My Melancholy Baby (E Burnett, G Norton) to Honeysuckle Rose (F Waller), Manoir de Mes Reves (D Reinhardt) and much more!

MARY KAYE KNAPHUS Wednesday, September 13th at 7:00PM

Tickets: $15 in advance - $20 at door

Just in time for the Green Valley Sahuarita Chamber of Com-merce International Rodeo, multiple award winning entertainer, Mary Kaye, will stop in Green Valley for an evening of western music. Mary Kaye tours extensively throughout the United States and Canada with her unique brand of western roots music. She is a native born Texan and as a young woman ventured off to Utah where she "married her a cowboy.” They have deep western roots that go back six generations and reside in the small western town of Escalante, a 140 year old ranching community in southern Utah, where her large family is involved in horse training, cow-boying, and all things western. She has been married to her hus-

band Brad for 30 years, they have ten children.

Mary Kaye has won multiple awards including Song of the Year and Female Vocalist of the Year from the Western Music Association, and Female Performer of the Year from the Acad-emy of Western Artists. Mary Kaye recently released her forth solo studio western album, Ride A Wide Circle, to glowing re-views. Paul Riley of the respected Country Music People Maga-zine out of the UK declared, "Mary Kaye’s CD is one of those perfect albums. Everything comes together: the songs, the superb vocals, backing musicians on top form, very good production and best of all Mary Kaye’s unique feel for her music." The CD de-buted at #1 on the Western Music Charts, and the title track earned a prestigious Wrangler Award from The National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum. Western Horseman said of her, "Some Western singers and musicians are all about preserving traditional cowboy songs. Others strive to write and sing songs about contemporary cowboy life...Mary Kaye does both well, and with an authenticity that appeals to not only purists, but also those seeking something fresh."
