Sports Day 2017
A very big well done to all the children for taking part in Sports Day. We were very blessed with a beau-tiful day and it was
lovely to see so many parents and families to support and encourage the children. After a
very competitive day, the winning team this year was ASH.
Thank you to Mr Murray and
Mrs Eland for all their help.
A big plea for any school sports kits to be re-turned. Please dig deep for an-other look as we are missing a lot of sports kits. Thank you.

Trampoline Champion
One of our Year 5 pupils, Evie, came FIRST (representing the North West) in the UK this weekend at the Trampolining Re-gional Finals event at the Barclaycard Arena, Birmingham. Evie was against 24 girls in the 11-12 age category at NDP Level 2. Competing against 12 regions, she won gold and now is through to the National Finals in Tel-ford in 3 weeks time. Many congrat-ulations Evie—this is fantastic news, good luck in the Finals from every-one at NLAS.
Cricket
Well done to the two Year 5 cricket teams who
played in a tournament at Fox Lane Cricket
Club on Monday. All the children played ex-
tremely well in very hot conditions!
One team managed to get through
to the semi-final gaining third place
and bronze medals. A great sporting day out.
Well done to all our children for taking part.
