Through team-building activities and public speaking practice, you will boost your self-confidence too. Week 3 Aug 2 - Aug 6 College Preparation - Are you ready for college? Develop your study skills and prepare to be a successful college student! Week 4 Aug 9 - Aug 13 Career Preparation - Get started on your path to career success! Explore your interests and discover your educational and career possibilities. • Become familiar with format and requirements of IELTS exam • Learn test-taking strategies and techniques • Get detailed feedback from instructors on practice test results• An official IELTS exam at the end of the program

Requirements for Admission:• High school diploma or equivalent (age 18+)• Full-time program: F-1 Student visa (I-20 will be provided)• Part-time program: Approved tourist visa

Dates: July 19 - July 23 (5 days) + official IELTS exam (date TBD)

Fees: Application fee $25; Full-time (20-hour classes) $1000 Part-time (10-hour classes) $600

Visiting Student Program (VSP)Program Highlights:

• Earn university credits (space available basis)

• Become part of the university community for the summer and explore Bay Area attractions

• Use university facilities just like regularly admitted university students
