News from JNTO Toronto Office SUMMER 2019 Tourism on the Rise The numbers are in, and we are very happy to share that the rate of Canadian visitors to Japan between January and June 2019 is up 10.8% compared to the same period in 2018 (183,700 in 2019 vs. 165,774 in 2018). There was a noticeable spike in the spring, with a 13.6% increase in the month of April and a 12.4% increase in the month of May from the same time last year.
