take the Gospel to Houston and to the world . This summer we will
be joined with our fellow Sunday school class, Basic Training in
the Bible .” Together we will study You Are What You Love: The

trusting bonds of friendship, serve the needs of others, and have
fun along the way . This class offers Bible-based teaching, group
interaction, and small group discussions . Along with studying
Scripture, the Boomers class meets socially for various activities
and events including Dinner for Eight, Sunday brunch after church,
plays, and holiday events .
CornerstoneParents 30s–50s • 9:40am • Solarium
Led by Rev . Jon Crantz and Rev . David Augustus, our goal is
to equip and encourage all members of this Sunday School
community to grow in their discipleship to Jesus Christ . The most
important aspect of raising children to know Christ is parents who
are growing in their faith . This community focuses on biblical,
Christ-centered teaching and intentional fellowship throughout
the week . Each Sunday morning, participants gather with a
singular focus of applying the teaching of Scripture to everyday
life as followers of Christ .
SUNDAY SCHOOL & SMALL GROUPS
SUNDAY SCHOOL
These Sunday morning co-ed classes
(20–80 people) equip members through
focused teaching and discussion
concerning the core doctrines of
Christianity. These classes are meant to
be a place for guests and members to get
to know one another as they study God’s
Word. Sunday School classes begin at
9:40 AM unless otherwise noted.
SMALL GROUPS
These co-ed or gender specific groups
(10–20 people) provide a space for more
intimate relationships where people
can grow in community through prayer,
accountability, and Bible study as they
learn practically the steps of hospitable
evangelism (loving our neighbors who are
far from God). For more information visit
fpchouston.org/smallgroups.
