• The organization of the Eurolag 9 conference says thank you for coming to Venice and hopes you had a pleasant and fruitful stay

The next conference
• The next Eurolag conference will be held in 2022
• We already have contacted some institutions in Poland (Gdansk) to see if they would be willing to host the next conference. We will still have to better clarify the details which will be circulated once we have a confirmation.
• In case Poland accepts to hold the conference, it will be in May/June
Special Issues
• We are trying to organize special issues in some journals:• ECSS
• Journal of Nature Conservation

• We will inform you about the possibility of publishing your research that you have presented in the conference
Student grants
• 6 grants from Murray foundation have been given to students coming from North Africa and from the Russian Federation (500 Euro each)

• ECSA was offering a prize of 100 Euro for the best student presentation and poster each• Best presentation: Davide Tognin
• Best poster: Yari Tomio
Special student grants
• The Murray foundation has made available two grants (up to 2500 euros in total) to students attending the Symposium, who the scientific committee feel have made a significant contribution to the understanding of lagoon processes
• The object of these grants is to allow the students to attend a training course or participate in a research project in a laboratory other than where he or she is studying
• They should also present their studies in the next Eurolag conference
