Description:

Responsibilities Involve in datastage admin tasks such as Server Monitoring,Server recycling, setting up environment for

different databases,Installation of patches,fix packs in DEV,Test and Prod. Work in shifts and to provide 16 hrs production support from offshore. Assist developers for different issues such as job locks, stopping stuck jobs, debugging application,providing

resolution for job abends, helping in Data Stage login issues etc. Provide release support by moving DS codes/Parameter sets/CLI entries from lower environments to higher

environments. Prepare shell scripts to automate the regular processes. Take part in the weekly Business calls to monitor the status of the project. Perform regular monitoring of dev, test and prod servers as well as IIS file systems on these servers. Provide KT of Datastage administration to new joiners in the team.

Responsibilities Interact with BA's to gather functional requirement. Complete documentation of high level and low level design & migration/deployment documents. Involve primarily in developing DataStage jobs, end-to-end testing and delivery. Involve in creating Technical Specification, test cases, analysis of issues etc. Involve in error analysis, understanding the functional requirements from onsite team and implementation of

the same. Involve actively in Transformation runs and perform pre-requisites and post run activities for the same. Be dedicated on the tasks assign to me, take ownership and deliver things on time appropriately. Always co-ordinate with the team and close gaps on tasks, to understand the processes involved and do the

same when required. Ensure that the deliverables are adhered to the company’s compliance requirements and at the same time are

Responsibilities

Maintain and administer the Datastage environment. Monitor the loads (Daily/Adhoc/Periodic in conjunction with the team) in Datastage and SQL and verify that

the data is loaded properly and resolve any issues if occurred. Work on change/enhancements in Datastage. Development of new designs in Datastage. Work on innovations to improve the existing processes and increase automations of currently manual tasks. Assist/work with the team in SQL based work like checking/modifying/creating logics, stored Procedure etc. Provide weekend support as per rotation basis.
