If approved, the by-laws will be printed in book form and made available to the entire church. A question and answer session was held on December 8, 2019 to discuss the proposed changes. Sharon will bring extensive experience to our church family in the Preschool and Children’s Ministry. In her own words, Sharon states, “I consider the Children’s Ministry the most important ministry in the church, and I love working with a team of volunteers to ensure that the children are learning about Jesus and coming to know Him as their Savior – not simply being babysat in child care!” Please pray for Sharon and her family during February as they will be relocating back to this area after living in Nashville for the past several years.

Care Bags for Quality of Life Oncology Chemo Center The Women’s Ministry is collecting items for care bags for the oncology center patients. Items needed are: Kleenex, chapstick, unscented lotion, hand sanitizer, hard candy, crossword puzzle books, word find puzzle books, ink pens, bottled water, & peanut butter crackers. You can leave the items in the barrel downstairs near the elevator. Deadline for supplies is February 9th. During the month of February, the Sojourners Sunday School Class will be collecting items for Hope House in Kingsport. Help us honor the sanctity of human life by supporting this ministry which provides safe, secure, and supportive long-term housing to
pregnant young ladies free of charge. Hope House is currently in need of the following items: diapers (all sizes, especially size 4), baby wipes, shampoo and conditioner for babies and young ladies), body wash, Similac baby formula (Advance, Sensitive, and Soy), infant gas drops, car seats, toilet paper, paper towels, laundry detergent, 13-gallon trash bags, and dish soap.
