What aspects of the film were promoted to attract an audience?

- Much of the cast of ‘Suicide Squad’ are established actors with a large fanbase and so by promoting the actors as being part of the cast, it encourages the fans of the actors to go and see the film.

- ‘Suicide Squad’ is based off of a comic book series of the same name and so fans of the comic book series are already an established target audience for the film

In your opinion, which were the most effective marketing strategies?

- I think that the most effective marketing strategy was the multiple trailers and clips that were released, as the small glimpses of the film that were released inflated the hype that surrounded the film and so gained a wider audience.

- Another good marketing strategy was the release of multiple posters, one for each of the ‘main characters’ as it gave the audience an insight into the characters in the film.
