included.

Why a Suggested Reading List?

Often when talking to parents, teachers suggest they read more at home with their child. Parents would like to buy books or get books from the library at their child's reading level but they don't usually know where to start.

This list is not a complete list of books at any given reading level, merely the jumping off point for parents and kids. Each reading level has 15 examples of books at that particular level.

Generally, I like to print out the sheets that best pertain to an individual child. I include books a few levels behind and ahead of their current level.

Dear Families,

I am providing you a list of books that might be

perfect for you child to read independently or

with you! This list should be a great jumping up

off point for you and your child to find something

that they can read and that interests them.

Please feel free to veer off this list. It is NOT a

required list of reading, just some suggestions to

allow your child to branch out. Enjoy your

reading!
