How to tap1. Put the drill on your hip, and point it upward

2. Hold the base against your hip and slowly turn the drill

3. Drill until you get to the mark on the bit.

4. Turn it half a turn backward and slowly pull it out.

5. Then tap the spile in and connect the hose to the bucket.

It is important to prevent bacteria growth.

Making the Syrup• Sap stored in the holding tank is drawn down through a filter into the evaporation pan

• A special spoon is used to remove foam from process and test consistency

•+ Once sap reaches 216*F it is brought to the second part of the pan and drawn off into buckets

• The syrup stored in buckets will be stored until it is finished and bottled

• Poured in finishing pan brought to temperature again, then bottled and sealed hot
