Pattern

1. 12 dc in a magic circle. End with a slst in the first st. 2. 2 dc in each st. End with a slst in the first st. 3. Ch 3+ch 3 (=1 dc + ch 3), *sk 1 st, 1 dc, ch 3*, repeat *-* around.End with a slst in the 3rd ch. 4. Slst to the chsp, *6 dc in the chsp, 6 dc in next chsp, ch 1, (1 dc + ch 6 + 1 dc) in next chsp, ch 1*, repeat *-* around.End with a slst in the first st. 5. Slst to the middle of one side (after the first 6 dc), *5 dc between the dc groups, 1 sc in the 4th st, ch 5, 1 dc in next chsp, (5 dc + ch 3 + 5 dc) in next chsp (corner), 1 dc in next chsp, ch 5, 1 sc in the 4th st*, repeat *-* around. End with a slst in the first st. 6. Slst to the 3rd dc of the 5, *5 dc tog in the 3rd dc from prev round, ch 5, 3 dc tog in next chsp, ch 4, sk 4 st, 2 sc, (2 sc+ ch 3 + 2 sc) in the corner, 2 dc (don’t forget the hidden st), ch 4, 3 dc tog in chsp, ch 5*, repeat *-* around. End with a slst at the top of the 5 dc tog. 7. Ch 1, *1 sc at top of the 5 dc tog, 4 sc in the chsp, fpsc around the 3 dc tog from prev round, 4 sc in chsp, 4 hdc, (2 hdc + ch 3 + 2 hdc) in the corner, 4 hdc, 4 sc in chsp, fpsc around the 3 dc tog from prev round, 4 sc in chsp*, repeat *-* around. End with a slst in the first ch. 8. Ch 2, *1 hdc in each st to the corner, (2 hdc + ch 3 + 2 hdc) in the corner, sk the hidden st*, repeat *-* around. End with a slst in the 2nd ch.

Cut yarn and secure ends. A tip is to block your squares to make them lie flat.
