Customs clearanceAll accompanying documents had to be sent before shipment to get PP numberThe truck drivers had to let us know about their arrival. The procedure of clearance was very complicated and included :inspection by the officer at Brovary customs point (2-3 times in some cases) approval by numerous permitting bodies:

– Sanitation and epidemiological inspection in Kiev– Quarantine inspection in Brovary– Standardization, metrology and certification centre in Kiev– Customs tariff department in Kiev– Customs commodity coding department in Kiev

Any of the bodies had a formal right to consider the matter as long as two weeks
