MAIN CONTENTS

1.0 OBJECTIVES

To brief the Sudapet/Subsidiaries ISO working

teams on the current status of the ISO

Certification Project.

To discuss and share ideas on the strategic

roadmap towards obtaining ISO 9001, ISO

14001 and OHSAS 18001 certifications.

To recommend and discuss the way forwards &

next step.

In line with the MOP directions/requirements and Sudapet corporate strategy &

aspirations, the top management intended to adopt certifications for its integrated

QHSE Management System that integrates three internationally recognize

standards; QMS ISO 9001, EMS ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001.

In ensuring an effective process towards obtaining ISO certifications, a strategic

roadmap was developed. The roadmap consists of a preliminary activities & five

stages based on the Scope of Work (SOW ) submitted as per ITB package

prepared.

A pre-award meeting was conducted on 6thFeb 2012 prior to issuance of letter of

award (LOA) to discuss and agree upfront on the consultant execution plan (Pre-

award Agreement)

The Provision of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001 Consultancy Services &

Certifications (Sudapet Contract No.11/58) has been awarded to the Quality

Consultants Company Ltd. as per (LOA) signed on 9th Feb 2012 in a highly

professional ITB process with involvement of all subsidiaries in the TEC.

The overall budget/cost of the project is fixed lump sum of SDG 441 K, it will be

shared among subsidiaries based on the nature and activities of each company

(45% SUDAPET/PTC, 25% ASAWER,15% CTS, 10% BGP & 5% BPC).
