Bonifacio Jiminezgrew up in a small
Mexican villagespeaking his native language.
In 2012, he moved to live withhis brother in Oklahoma,started learning English
and worked in a restaurant,where the language barrier
caused frustration.
He heard of theMetro Tech ESL course
on the radio, later enrolledand spent six months completingall five levels of Rosetta Stone.
His performance was stunning.
Seth Eilerts graduatedfrom Metro Tech in 2010,received his AMP license
and enrolled in pre-engineeringcourses at Oklahoma City
Community College.
Today, he's an aerospaceengineering student at the
University of Oklahomaand planning to build apiston-powered aircraftthat intends to break theworld record for altitude.
Johnathan Rodebushbarely graduated high school.He always worked on vehicles
with his father because his fatherwas too stubborn to
take vehicles to the shop.
After much consideration,Johnathan ended up at
Metro Tech for thePro-Tech Auto Service programwhere he excelled and went on
to complete three degrees.
Now,he owns an auto repair shopcalled Rodey’s Automotive.
Jessica Caldwellwas 12-years old when she
and four siblings were removedfrom their home by DHS
and thrust into foster carefor several years.
Although life was frustrating,Jessica graduated from theMetro Career Academy at
16-years old as 4th in her class,and now she is
a thriving college student.
