This lightweight and malleable matting also has excellent structural strength – it won’t lift and won’t curl. But when you need to change your gym surface Comfort Zone is also easy to reposition and store.

Comfort Zone is available in 1m x 1m x 20mm interlocking sheets. As these mats are made from lightweight EVA foam even a large area can be installed quickly and easily. Impact Tile

Manufactured to the highest standards, Impact-Tiles are ready to rumble in high usage areas such as free-weights areas and exercise equipment rooms. Impact-Tiles have been tested for tensile strength, CRF fire rating, VOC emissions, and slip resistance in wet & dry conditions.

All Impact-Tiles® are 1x1m squared and 15mm thick with bevelled edges and are composed of polymerically bound recycled rubber and EPDM colour flecks, finished at a density of 800kg/m³.

This ‘dual durometer’ flooring system provides an environmentally friendly, seamless, low maintenance, sports court surface. Dynapoint® systems are poured in-situ creating a seamless, odourless surface finish. Different performance characteristics can be achieved using various system levels of shock absorption and surface firmness.

Dynapoint®

Dynapoint® is an excellent choice for basketball, gymnastics, indoor training facilities, and multisport use. As it’s applied on-site, the levels of shock absorption and surface firmness can be adjusted with different layer thicknesses. This approach ensures performance characteristics that are ideally suited to the needs of the end-user.

This environmentally friendly, built-tough flooring is constructed with a ‘sandwich’ system. First a prefabricated recycled rubber mat is adhered to the substrate and coated with a premium polyurethane ‘wear coat’. It is then finished with two layers of premium polyurethane matte top coats.

For decades we’ve been putting in the work underfoot to ensure peak performances above ground. With a world-leading product range and nationwide installation and service network we ensure Kiwi gym flooring is fit for purpose.

Our History

The first steps of our company were taken by father and

son duo Peter and Mike Judd. They established Numat in

the mid 1990s after seeing a strong need for dependable

matting products in the local industry.

With a hugely positive response to these products the

company quickly found its feet. Soon after we discovered a

lack of quality surfacing options for the playground market

and so applied our product knowledge and professional

diligence to this opportunity. In the years since we have

expanded into other sectors. Key amongst these has been

the gym sector, where our built-tough matting has been

received with open arms (and jumping feet).

We started off in a small shed – a two-man operation

with the vision for matting solutions that went beyond

the surface. Now, with over 20 team members, a global

network of suppliers and nationwide sales, service and

installation, we continue to step ahead.
