From there, our team can get in touch with blogs that are looking for content around ‘X Category’, put them in touch with our client and write a blog that links back to our client’s website. Whilst this may not be the practice for every client, it is one of the linking tools at our disposal.

Managing your brand online can be a tricky practice. People can post largely whatever they want and, whilst regulations are getting better, there are still a few cowboys out there.

Google Alerts helps to keep these cowboys in check. You can setup a simple email alert through Google for when any new content is created mentioning a certain keyword – e.g. your company name. If it’s damning or plain incorrect, you can ask to have it removed before it’s done any PR damage. If it’s a positive article but doesn’t link back to your website, get in touch and ask for a link.
