Our deep water housings are rated and tested to an operating depth of6,000m (deeper ratings upon request). We always provide a high safetymargin: The designed failure depth is 9,000m.
Standard inner diameters are 110mm and 180mm. Standard inner length is480mm.
The housing outer shell is manufactured from a specially formulated fibrereinforced synthetic with superior long term corrosion resistance.
Housing cap plates are machined from titanium offering maximum rigidityfor connectors or other installations. The cap plates are exchangeable andcan be reordered individually for maximum flexibility. Our 110mm housingcan take up to three standard size SubConn® connectors while the 180mmhousing can take up to 8 of them.
The main O-rings are combined with concave supporting rings in order toprovide maximum durability and reliability while still allowing to comfortablyopening and closing the housing without any tools.
The inner reinforcement shell is precision machined from high strengthaerospace aluminium, hard coated and equipped with an additional sealingthat provides an additional level of safety. This inner shell has no contact toseawater at all.
Our shallow water housing is suitable for deployments down to 750m. Outerand inner dimensions are identical to the deep water housings.
This housing offers all features of the deep water series at lower costs.
End cap plates are also exchangeable but machined from synthetics.If required, the deep water titanium plates can be installed.
The standard 110mm housing is neutral buoyant in seawater.
The DW.TH range of titanium housings is a lightweight and easy to handlealternative to our proven range of modular composite housings (MCH). Asthe DW.MCH housings, the DW.TH is also 6,000m depth rated with a safetymargin of 1.5 .
Due to the material composition of titanium and glass fibre reinforced POMthe housings are ideally suitable for long term deployments. The corrosionresistance is backed by a 5 years warranty.
The DW.TH housings feature the same tool-less locking mechanism as theMCH housing range. The new conical sealing improves the reliability of ourhousings even further and reduces the effort for opening and closing evenmore.
The concave o-ring groove reduces wear on seals and allows extendedmaintenance intervals.
The DW.TH housings are available with several standard diameters andlengths as well as with custom dimensions.

Our base housing features an inner diameter of 87mm with two optionalinner usable lengths: 230mm and 500mm. With the base housing you chosea small but very effective solution to operate reliable in depths up to 6,000m.
The deep-water-version is completely made of titanium to offer superiorcorrosion resistance. Our shallow water version features a pressure tubemade of fiber-reinforced synthetics.
End caps for interface connectors and transducers are available.
Besides delivering our standard housings from stock, we are also able tosupply you with custom housings manufactured to your requirements.
Outer diameters up to 500mm, inner lengths up to 1,300mm and depthratings down to 10,000m are possible.
Other possible features include optical windows & glass domes, installationof custom connectors, adapters for acoustic transducers, overpressurevalves and others. In addition, we offer coupling adapters for joining two ormore housings.
While absolutely recommending our titanium or composite housing designdue to its various advantages, we are also able to deliver hard coatedaluminium housings for special requirements.

Our refillable battery containers are designed to fit into our MCH and DW.THhousings and to accommodate LR20 (size D) primary or rechargeablestandard batteries and are available in several sizes up to 171 cells for MCHHousings and 56 cells for DW.TH housings. Custom DW.TH housings can beequipped with larger battery containers. The battery containers can bemounted onto the DW.TH and MCH standard, compact and large housingcaps. Our pressure housings can therefore be transformed into flexibleexternal power supply solutions for your instrument set-up.
The battery containers are made of fibre reinforced synthetic, anodizedaluminium. Key features are light weight and easy servicing. Off-the-shelfavailable lithium, alkaline or NiMH battery cells can be refilled by thecustomer.
Our configurable battery container is flexible and easy to handle solution tosubmarine power supply requirements.
The container integrated circuit board with its Schottky-diode-matrixsupports the safe operation of e.g. the 49-cell container in 7p7s, 3p14s, 2p21sor 49s configurations.
If equipped with Lithium Primary Cells this 49-cell container delivers –depending on the chosen cell type and discharge characteristics – up to3000Wh @25V or 2500Wh@50V.
With Alkaline batteries 880Wh @10.5V or 750Wh@21V & 42V are possible.
If the container is to be equipped with rechargeable cells, a low-voltage-cutoff option is available in the integrated circuit board in order to avoid deepdischarge.

Configurable Battery Container
Our refillable battery containers are designed to fit into our MCH and DW.THhousings and to accommodate LR20 (size D) primary or rechargeablestandard batteries and are available in several sizes up to 171 cells for MCHHousings and 56 cells for DW.TH housings. Custom DW.TH housings can beequipped with larger battery containers. The battery containers can bemounted onto the DW.TH and MCH standard, compact and large housingcaps. Our pressure housings can therefore be transformed into flexibleexternal power supply solutions for your instrument set-up.
The battery containers are made of fibre reinforced synthetic, anodizedaluminium. Key features are light weight and easy servicing. Off-the-shelfavailable lithium, alkaline or NiMH battery cells can be refilled by thecustomer.
Our configurable battery container is flexible and easy to handle solution tosubmarine power supply requirements.
The container integrated circuit board with its Schottky-diode-matrixsupports the safe operation of e.g. the 49-cell container in 7p7s, 3p14s, 2p21sor 49s configurations.
If equipped with Lithium Primary Cells this 49-cell container delivers –depending on the chosen cell type and discharge characteristics – up to3000Wh @25V or 2500Wh@50V.
With Alkaline batteries 880Wh @10.5V or 750Wh@21V & 42V are possible.
If the container is to be equipped with rechargeable cells, a low-voltage-cutoff option is available in the integrated circuit board in order to avoid deepdischarge.

Inline mooring frames are available for all our MCH and base systemhousings. Those are either made of 1.4571 stainless steel with additionalaluminium anodes or made of titanium. Compatible shacks of bow shackleswith safety pin and high strength synthetic sleeves are optionally available.
