Submitting for Review What does it mean? In Taskstream, Submitting for Review means that you are requesting comments or informal feedback, as opposed to a formal evaluation. With reviews, you do not receive a score or a formal indication of whether you passed an assignment. Submitting for review just enables the Reviewer to view the assignment and write comments on the work.

What does it mean?

• In Taskstream, Submitting for Review means that you are requesting comments or informal feedback, as opposed to a

formal evaluation.

• With reviews, you do not receive a score or a formal indication of whether you passed an assignment. Submitting for review just enables the Reviewer to view the assignment

and write comments on the work.

There are two ways to Submit for Review:

• One way is to submit an artifact created in Taskstream such as a lesson or a portfolio.

• The other way is submit a single requirement or multiple requirements in a DRF Program.

Submitting a Lesson or Unit For Review

When the lesson or unit is open, the Request Feedback button is on the upper right-hand side of the area.

Check the box next to the reviewer(s) and click Submit for Review

Once the lesson or unit is submitted for Review, you are able to add comments to your review for each section of the lesson or unit

To submit work for review in a DRF program, you would click the Request Comments button on the upper right-hand side of the

requirement area

In the pop-up window, the assignment you’re working on will be checked by default, but you can submit some or all of the assignments.

Then click continue.

Check the boxes next to the reviewer or reviewers that will be commenting on the assignment and click Continue.

After submitting for Review, the Author is taken to the Comments tab where they can receive comments from Reviewer(s) as well as respond

to comments in a discussion board format.

What needs to happen for an Author to Submit for Review?

• The Author must be enrolled in a program where Reviewing is enabled.

• The Author and Reviewer(s) could also be enrolled in a Collaborative Program, which only has Reviewing enabled If the program uses Grouping, the Author must be grouped with a Reviewer in order to submit for Review.
