Guidelines for Submission of Project Proposals
1. The proposal submitted to TI Innovation Challenge India Analog Design Contest should not be submitted as an entry for any other contest, before or after.2. TI Innovation Challenge: India Analog Design Contest 2014 will use an online submission system. Log on to www.ti.com/tiic-india-proposal, create an account for
your team and submit an online project proposal.3. A student must be a member of at most one team in the proposals received from a college.4. A teacher may mentor one or more projects from a college.5. Each project proposal must include the following information.
Name of the College andaffiliated UniversityNames of student teammembers along with theirstudent id/roll numbers,course (BE, ME or Ph.D.),department and semesterinformationName(s) of faculty advisor(s),department(s) anddesignation(s)Name of the studentcoordinator (One of the teammembers should benominated studentcoordinator)E-mail and Mobile contacts ofthe students and faculty
Project TitleProject Domain – Industrial Automation, Automotive,Energy/Power, Security, Wireless, Automation,Energy/Power, Medical, etc.Project Description – Explain the intention/objective ofyour project, define problem statement, proposedsolution focusing on your innovation; include blockdiagrams and references. Suggested length of thedescription: 5 pagesList of TI components required must be uploaded inprescribed format (visit Downloads) along with projectproposal. Visit TI Semiconductor Tools Selection GuideA letter of intent printed on college letterhead inprescribed format (visit Downloads) and signed by thePrincipal of the College or Head of the Departmentmust be uploaded along with project proposal beforeAugust 15, 2013
6. Last date for the online submission of project proposal, components request and letter of intent in prescribed format is August 15, 2013.7. All proposals will be acknowledged. Shortlisted colleges will be intimated by September 15, 2013 so that they can proceed with the project implementation. The
names of the short-listed colleges will appear on www.ti.com/tiic-in.8. The final submission of the project report along with YouTube video of project demonstration is due on January 26, 2014. The prizes will be announced in the first
quarter of 2014. The decision of the judges will be final. TI reserves the right to split the prize money in case the judges so recommend. Similarly, TI reserves theright to not award a prize if the judges so recommend. Terms & Conditions of the contest are available in (Downloads).
