Study and use different medias and various techniques in your paintings. 4. Preferred Medium: Water, poster and acrylic colour. Specific guidelines: (i) Use A4 sheet of cartridge paper/canvas (ii) Draw with pencil (iii) No margins should be drawn (iv) Use poster, acrylic or water colour Duration Summer vacation Tools Brush, Water colour, pencil, eraser, water bowl. Execution of task / Procedure The learners will be instructed to limit their research specific to the theme and explore the origin of the paintings (origin, technique, of the painting). The rubrics of assessment will be announced to the students in advance. *These paintings are mere examples for the students. They are encouraged to create their own compositions. the information gathered and aesthetically use the tools

to present the ideas in the form of art.

Follow up Constructive follow up will be done after the assessment.

Painting style to be used Collage work:

Collage is done by pasting together pieces of colorful

plain paper/newspaper sheet/magazine sheet. The paper

can be cut into small pieces to create the kind of effects

shown below.

In Cubism, objects are analyzed, broken up and

reassembled in an abstracted form—instead of depicting

objects from one viewpoint, the artist depicts the subject

from a multitude of viewpoints to represent the subject in

a greater context.
