Ref. No. Plexh/Cir/1255 Date : 30th Sept,2013    To, All the Members All Members of Committee of Administration   Dear Sir,  Sub : Trade Policy Review (TPR) of  Peru.   We  have  received  communication  dtd.26th  Sept’2013  from  Depts.  of  Commerce  &  Industry, Govt. of India regarding providing inputs on trade policy of PERU.  Trade  policy  Review  Mechanism  (TPRM),  World  Trade  Organization  (WTO),  Geneva  will conduct the Trade Policy Review (TPR) in respect of Peru on 13th & 15th November, 2013.   TPR  offers  opportunity  to  other WTO members  to  ask  questions  and  concerns  on  different aspects of policies and practices of the country under review. For enhancing the role of India in WTO’s TPR exercises, it is essential that we keep an eye on the trade policy and practices of the member country so that we are well equipped to raise issues concerning global trade in general and of India’s interest in particular during the TPR. A list important issues to focus on, for the said review is enclosed at Annexure – I.    Members are requested to send inputs on the issues concerning Peru to the undersigned by 9th October, 2013.     Thanking you Yours faithfully  Bharti Parave Senior Executive
