The Make Me a Change Agent manual is a set of fieldfriendly SBC lessons that build the skills ofcommunitylevel workers, such as community development agents, community health workers andagriculture extension agents, to be more effective behavior change promoters in their communities.

Food for Peace Strategy ConsultationsJanuary 28, February 4, and February 11, 2015 Washington, DC and Online

TOPS is hosting partner consultations in January and February to support the development of Food for

Peace's updated strategic plan.

These consultations provide an opportunity to harness the significant experience of FFP implementing

partners through small group discussion and other participatory methods exploring the roles most

appropriate for FFP and its partners to take on in key strategic areas, implications for such work, and

factors for both nearterm and longterm success.

Please note the first session originally scheduled for January 12 was rescheduled to February 4.

Both inperson and online participation are available for all sessions.

Designing for Behavior Change TrainingMarch 23 27, 2015 San Diego, CA

TOPS is hosting a Designing for Behavior Change (DBC) training in collaboration with Project ConcernInternational.

This fiveday workshop gives field staff and managers the skills and tools to apply a behavioralapproach to designing food security programs, through the Designing for Behavior Change forAgriculture, Natural Resource Management, Health and Nutrition manual. The training will alsoreference the use of the methodology for gender, WASH, and other types of programs.

Featured ResourceBarrier Analysis Questionnaires now in French and Spanish

Last year, TOPS created a set of 30 Barrier AnalysisQuestionnaires and guidance on how to adapt thesequestionnaires as references for BA implementers. Thequestionnaires address behaviors in the areas ofmaternal and child nutrition, health, water and sanitationand agriculture. BA is recommended in the Designing for BehaviorChange framework to identify the most significantbarrier to behavior change, and to implement a BA,researchers first must develop a data collection tool the questionnaire. Now all the questionnaires are translated into Frenchand Spanish for use around the world.
