With 10 seconds left, down 28-21, coach Nathanael Fong thought, Its

over. It wasnt. Nathanael Fong threw a seventy yard touchdown pass to

Darren Wong, sub for Steven Chen. It was tied. This game was all about

breaking stereotypes. Micaiah scored the first touchdown for the Sonics,

and he threw an eighty yard touchdown to Joshua Ko, wide open. At the

half, it was 14-0. Compared to last week with a 91-21 shutdown of the Bay

Area Stripers, it was a close game. However, in the third quarter, when

Micaiah punted it, he hit a lady. Whoops! Twenty yard penalty. It turned

out to be costly later. The Raptors settled for a field goal that drive, 14-3.

On the next drive, they scored a touchdown. 14-10. But the Sonics came

back and grabbed another touchdown. As the third quarter ended, it was

Sonics 21, Raptors 10. On the fourth quarter opening drive,

to play. Coach Nathanael Fong

was getting nervous, but then

Darren Wong threw a 65 yard

touchdown to Nathanael Fong. 28-

24. The Sonics tried to run out the

clock, and run they did. When the

Raptors got the ball back, there

were 44 seconds left. But after

penalties, somehow, Nathanael

found Darren! The Raptors had the

lead for the first time, with eight

seconds left! But after a punt, the

Sonics received at the twenty.

Joshua threw to Micaiah, but

Wong was there too at the 40.

They struggled, but Fong pulled

away and ran for a touchdown.

The referees reviewed the play and

ruled a touchdown. Unbelievable.

That was the word Sundayafternoon.

football.

Welcome to the time machine, a new section which predicts scores for

the week. Lets take a look at Oct. 11.

Coaches Natalie Hamada and Ally Ko will do some good strategizing,

but Darren and Co. will pull off a huge victory. It might be like Stripers vs.

Crosses again. Uh oh.

Im seeing a repeat of two weeks ago in the future, Stripers.

Paper Football: Richmond Sonics 30, Berkeley Bears 24

This will be an interesting game. Im interested to see what would

happen when Micaiah and Josh clash on the football field.

The Raptors need as much rest as they can get before they face the

Crosses next week. After all, the only hope for some teams is paper

football. Well see what happens!
