On Monday, January 18 we remember the life of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. who said: “I still believe that standing up for the truth of God is the greatest thing in the world. This is the end of life. The end of life is not to be happy. The end of life is not to achieve pleasure and avoid pain. The end of life is to do the will of God, come what may.” In observance of the holiday, the church office will be closed. The next Marriage Prep class begins Sunday, February 28, at 10:45am. At this time, we are planning to offer our Marriage Prep class on campus. Face coverings and social distancing will be required. If we are restricted from meeting on campus, we will continue to offer the class through individual meetings, virtual sessions, or some combination of the two. You will receive all resources we typically provide through the registration fee, including the online premarital assessment. There is a $50 fee per couple to help offset the cost of materials, including the relationship assessment you will take as part of the class. This class is a requirement to be married at Hunter Street or by a Hunter Street minister. For more information, contact Ryan Gaines, [email protected]. MidWeek Worship resumes January 20 at 6:00pm in the Worship Center followed by Discussion Groups from 6:45-7:30pm in the Main Building. Discussion groups will remain the same from last semester.
