had a fight that is portray in Act IV. Shakespeare did this to add conflict to his drama.

Even though Octavius and Antony are victors at Philippi, Shakespeare has no intention of giving them credit for the victory. Rather these two won by pure luck of confusion.

Antony says, “Brutus, was the most noble Roman of them all.” Shakespeare also believes Antony is a noble Roman too.
