Study Area What is this consultation about? This consultation has been prepared to seek your views and provide you with information about proposed transport improvements in Hartley Wintney. These include: Cycle routes; Pedestrian crossing improvements and; Localised traffic improvements. Why are cycle network improvements needed? There is a need to provide local residents with a safe and desirable alternative to car use when accessing local facilities to help reduce traffic flows on the A30 London Road and the surrounding road network. Hampshire County Council, in liaison with Hartley Wintney Parish Council and Hart District Council, has developed options to improve the community’s ability to access key services and facilities by walking and cycling as well as reducing the impact of traffic on the local road network. . How you can help shape the proposals As you walk around the consultation, please complete a comments form and post it in the box provided or send directly to us using a freepost envelope. All responses should be sent by 12th July 2014.
